Verdens bedste pizzaria i Rom

I sidste uge kom min bedre halvdel og jeg hjem fra en pragtfuld uge i Rom. Under et tidligere besøg i byen havde vi nydt en fantastisk middag på en pizzarestaurant et stenkast fra Piazza Navona, så inden vi drog afsted i år så jeg frem til at jage gaflen i endnu en af de vidunderlige stenovnsbagte sager. Da vi nåede restauranten åbenbarede sig en laaang kø, og hovedparten af de mennesker, der stod i køen, var lokale italienere. Det er tankevækkende, hvordan dette folkefærd med dets ellers så viltre temperament evner at stå så tålmodigt og vente i halve og hele timer på at komme ind og nyde en pizza. Jeg kan ikke se anden forklaring end, at det må være rendyrket madglæde. Men pizzaerne var nu også ventetiden værd. De var helt forrygende. Jeg har aldrig nogensinde i mit liv fået bedre pizzaer og måtte I en dag få lejlighed til at holde nogle dages ferie i Rom, kan jeg varmt anbefale Pizzaria Baffetto (betyder overskæg), som regnes for at være Roms absolut bedste pizzaria. Det er et aldeles uprentiøst sted fuld af autencitet og charme. Betjeningen er i top og de to pizzabagere en oplevelse værd i sig selv. Og i øvrigt - kan I finde plads til en portion af deres hjemmelavede tiramisu til dessert, så gør det! Den er skøn. Pizzaerne koster mellem 60 og 90 danske kroner stykket.

Rigtig dejlig aften. Dukkerten i havet i går var i øvrigt overraskende lun. Kan godt anbefales. Bor du i Aarhus vil jeg også lige give dig et andet tip. Er du glad for skaldyr og har du endnu ikke haft fornøjelsen af Café Forlæns og baglæns' calemares, så gå ikke glip af dem næste gang, du får lyst til at forkæle dig selv. Et koldt glas hvidvin og en portion af de sprøde, velsmagende blæksprutteringe dyppet i en velsmagende krydderdressing. Uhm, det er livskvalitet! Caféen ligger i Jægergårdsgade og har åbent tirsdag-lørdag.

Ohhh med den beskrivelse og billederne til at visualisere, drømmer jeg mig endnu mere mod varmere himmelstrøg, omend vejret har tilsmilet os på smukkeste vis de sidste dage!:)

Café Forlæns og Baglæns er skøn i sig selv - nød lidt tapas netop der, sidst jeg havde overnatning i Aarhus, hvilket også var super lækkert.

Rigtig god aften også til dig og dine. Hos os er der nedtælling til vi kan lukke vores arbejds-laptops fredag eftermiddag og blot nyde den danske sommer i 3 uger.
